Dr. Cynthia Mickens Ross is the Senior Pastor of Path~Way to Life Center of Hope Church in Hutchins, Texas. She is the author and teacher of the “Path~Way to Purpose® course. The course is a guided study into the discovery of your life’s purpose and how to live on purpose. Course completion has resulted in lives being transformed from all walks of life. Graduates have started businesses, while others have expanded their overall growth both personally and professionally.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

For over 20 years, through her obedience to God, Dr. Cynthia Mickens Ross has endeavored to be a community servant advocating for children, the elderly, and women. She has volunteered countless hours helping others by serving as Founder and CEO of Cynthia Mickens Ministries, Inc. and Senior Pastor at Path~Way to Life Center of Hope Church.

Dr. Mickens Ross serves as the Vice President at Fellowship of Professional Women (FPW), acts as the Healthcare Committee Chair of Best Southwest Partnership, serves as an Advisory Board Member of Christian Women in Media Association (CWIMA), and is an active member of Children’s Medical Center Health and Wellness Alliance. 

Dr. Mickens Ross previously served as a board member of Girls Incorporated of Metropolitan Dallas, American Heart Association and the Women’s Council of Dallas, Texas. She has also served as a member of the Dallas County Historical Commission, and was an appointee to the Small Face Insurance Advisory Committee for the State of Texas.

During Dr. Mickens Ross tenure as Park South YMCA Board of Management Chair, she lead the effort that resulted in the building of their community sports field for children.

She also served as the founding chair of the City of DeSoto Arts Commission.

In 2015, Dr. Mickens Ross received the Outstanding Texan Award, presented by State Representative Helen Giddings. She has also received the Dallas Living Legend Award from the Celebrating Life Foundation, the Vision Award from Shelia B. Ministries and the Community Servant Award.

Dr. Mickens Ross is a 2011 Leadership Texas graduate and 1999 graduate of Leadership Dallas.
